How long does transcription take?

Short audio files (under 5 minutes) are transcribed in seconds. Longer recordings are processed asynchronously with visible progress tracking. A 1-hour recording typically completes in under 2 minutes.

Is my audio data stored?

Unregistered transcriptions are processed in memory and deleted after 24 hours. Registered users’ files are stored securely on encrypted cloud storage and can be deleted at any time from the console.

What is the maximum file size?

The free tool supports files up to 25MB. Starter plan supports 50MB. For larger files, the Pro plan offers recoverable chunked uploads with no practical size limit.

Does Orpheus generate subtitles and captions?
